What You’ll Do

You'll be a high-energy, relentless sales and business growth leader. Working swiftly against tight deadlines, you'll serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for our event technology solutions. Your primary function will be to drive our event solutions sales by creatively leveraging improved service offerings and tech-enabled solutions. The venue solutions sales position is responsible for achieving individual sales objectives to support the company’s sales goals – by promoting and positioning our industry-leading handheld technology solutions along with our operating capabilities – to deliver a seamless and turnkey customer-centric solution. You’ll proactively create and manage sales opportunities in your territory, including ownership over project scoping, deal margins, and contracts.

Channel Your Inner Entrepreneur 

Leverage engagement and persuasion tactics to identify and sell prospects; aggressively source, identify, and pre-qualify sales opportunities 

Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; research and analyze sales options and attract new customers accordingly

 Cultivate & Craft Long-Lasting Relationships

Build relationships and increase partnerships with clients and industry key players by conducting weekly meetings, including but not limited to: initial appointments, collaboration meetings, and/or final presentations

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending industry conferences and educational workshops; review professional publications, establish personal networks, benchmark state-of-the-art practices, and participate in professional organizations

Establish and maintain relationships w/ clients by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend emerging technology, profit, and service improvements

Enhance Product Improvements & Parking Programs

Increase the value of current customers’ parking programs while maintaining quality customer service by establishing KPI’s and enforcing organization standards, policies, and procedures

Work with product management and others to assure customer needs and development commitments are met

Support Critical Operations Activities & Teams

Prepare reports for operations and sales activities while collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

Support and train local OPS teams by implementing and overseeing new technology initiatives and best practices; recommend solutions and implement programs and initiatives with local teams

What We Want From You 

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, and/or related field

· 5 to 7 years of experience in a role focused on sales, particularly in the technology industry

· Demonstrated ability to identify high-value technology leads and opportunities in event venue markets

· Must be highly proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Salesforce

· Strong interpersonal communication and active listening skills

·High energy, integrity, credibility, and articulation with an innate talent for building client relationships, emphasizing excellence and coaching, and managing processes

·  A proactive, creative, and detail-oriented self-starter skilled in negotiating, budgeting, presenting, and prospecting; demonstrated affinity for sales planning and goal attainment
