What You’ll Do:
As the Field Operations Excellence Manager, you’ll identify and communicate best practices across all operations divisions and channels to develop and drive consistency in work processes. You’ll also benchmark standards for the performance of operations leaders while acting as the key driver in developing and implementing a culture of continuous improvement.

Ø  Define a REEF Technology strategy for “Proximity as Service,” lead efforts to define the different business models for our customers – with related technology; provide business process and system support to the operations team and act as lead for company internal initiatives

Ø  Provide leadership, direction, and day-to-day support to ensure compliance and alignment with regulatory, internal, and customer food safety and quality requirements

Ø  Ensuring processes remain up to date and compliant with expected standard of execution, including annual analysis, update-to-date rules and continued training, as needed and aligned with Corporate Operational Excellence Team

Ø  Responsible for regulatory audits as necessary

Ø  Trend audit gaps and prioritizing facility needs based on common trends

Ø  Determine resources needed for Proximity as Service and communicating up to Operations Support Director and Area Directors

Ø  Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions as necessary

Ø  Align with responsible manager or director to ensure internal audit programs are effective and performed at a level to ensure compliance with current REEF Technology Quality Policies and Procedures.

Ø  Conceptualize training materials for employee and management training in regard to Operations execution.

Ø  Maintain technical competency and remaining current in changes in technology and in the industry.

Ø  Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents and update them in the Corporate Knowledge data base repository (SharePoint), etc.

Ø  Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations

Ø  Analyze weekly/monthly product/process cost statements & conduct cost reviews. Examine profitability trends over product/process life cycle & compare with estimates

Ø  Conduct plant level studies in cost management techniques for productivity enhancement & process improvement.

Ø  Provide analytical inputs to Head of Business on revenues, capacity utilization, safety, quality, customer delivery cost and profitability for planning

Ø  Devise and implement measurement tool for monitoring performance with respect to the business plan

Ø  Lead the change process by working closely with the site and the rest of the site leadership team

Ø  Optimize available resources through capacity planning and continuous improvement to maximize productivity

Ø  Lead, train, and monitor the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in service operations and meeting of individual & group targets

Ø  Timely and accurate completion of duties

Ø  Travel for work, from 50% up to 75% of the time

What We Want From You:

Ø  Bachelor’s degree preferred

Ø  7+ years of experience Distribution and Logistics Operations

Ø  Leadership skills to direct workflow and lead a team.

Ø  Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Ø  Six Sigma certificate a plus (yellow or green)

Ø  Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Ø  Ability to prioritize workload for self and team based on business need.

Ø  Must be able to meet business needs given competing priorities.

Ø  Demonstrates agility and the ability to meet tight deadlines and make quick decisions in a very versatile environment.

Ø  Strong attention to detail
