With REEF KITCHENS, we enable restaurants to reach more people in the most attractive neighborhoods in hundreds of new cities – without additional capital – by providing turnkey solutions for food preparation and delivery staging and fulfillment.  

 

More consumers are utilizing food delivery services every day, and while this means more opportunities for restaurants, it also means more challenges and complexity to be managed. Our REEF KITCHENS allow for on-site food preparation and our centralized locations serve as an optimal base for food delivery services, so your customers get their meals exactly as you intend them to-fast and fresh.  

 


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Launch Manager you’ll be responsible for leading the launch of a set of cities and locations within as we expand into new markets, and oversee the initial set up of each market you are responsible for. 

  • Hustle, execute, problem-solve and lead. You’ll be involved in all set up activities for our new markets and will play a direct role in overseeing the REEF KITCHENS launch success for your markets

  • Build a launch plan and strategy for your markets, and create and optimize processes to ensure we are learning and pivoting our approach as required

  • Manage and oversee the launch of up to 40 new REEF CONCEPTS deployment teams in coordination with the Area Director, while ensuring a fun and inclusive work culture

  • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure each new REEF KITCHENS launches according to its planned date and set standards, meeting all expected key metrics

  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution to ensure we do things quickly and well

  • Report on launch status and relay in-market insight to senior leadership daily

  • Be willing to get your hands dirty and do what it takes to get the REEF KITCHENS or NEW CONCEPTS set up

  • Maintain relationship with City teams, collaborating on execution, anticipating needs and working through issues self-sufficiently

  • Help secure licenses and permits by working with city officials

  • Identify and present new locations for expansion; coordinating with landlords and property managers to acquire new sites.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • At least 5 years of experience in high-growth and dynamic startup environments

  • At least a B.A./B.S. in Business, Finance, Economics or any related field

  • Very organized with excellent project management and communication skills and the ability to work across all levels of an organization

  • Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones through clear and concise communication and reporting tools

  • Ability to balance swift pace of execution with attention to detail

  • Problem-solving mindset, ready to crack any challenge that comes your way, all while being resilient

  • Flexibility: Launching new markets means you will spend a lot of time on the road, traveling to wherever business needs you on short notice

  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build relationships, lead a team, manage employees, and create a hard-working but fun workplace

  • Self-motivated, self-directed and accountable to take ownership of tasks to ensure solution
