What You’ll Do

You'll support our leadership team in New York (legal, finance, real estate) and will be a right arm to our legal professionals and attorneys who supports REEF Technology's legal initiatives, documents, and programs, providing support on litigation matters across all of the REEF businesses. 

Key Activities and Expectations for this Role

Ø  Project-manage critical events and meetings, including meeting materials and/or presentation, scheduling conference spaces, and coordinating IT and catering resources

Ø  Support day-to-day operational activities, including completing expense reports and legal billing, arranging complex and detailed travel information (i.e., plans, itineraries, and agendas), and compiling documents for travel-related meetings

Ø  Act as a gatekeeper and gateway by regulating access to an executive’s schedule, time, and bandwidth to help prioritize projects and initiatives to support crucial business needs

Ø  Craft and prepare communication on behalf of executive leaders and/or determine the appropriate action, response, and referral for sensitive, confidential matters

Ø  Assist in the handling of subpoenas, pre-litigation disputes, and litigation

Ø  Track litigation matters, implement legal holds, manage litigation deadlines, collect, analyze and produce documents

Ø  Interface with key stakeholders and employees at all levels as well as various third parties, including opposing counsel, vendors, service providers, and customers 

Ø  Complete other assigned projects and duties

What We Want From You
Bachelor’s or associate’s degree required.

Previous experience as an executive assistant to senior leadership in large organization

Previous litigation paralegal experience; Big Law or in-house legal department experience a plus

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRMS, including Salesforce and Asana

Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer service-oriented environment.

Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently, collaborate with teammates, take initiative, deliver on commitments and meet deadlines

Self-motivated, with ability to multi-task
